Obstacles or Focus?


When you are looking at situations or people in your life and you feel there is a hurdle to overcome somewhere there…….an obstacle you feel you is in your way……something that is preventing you from moving forward……I would ask you to take a look at your attitude and your thoughts towards what you perceive as something or someone as a problem to solve.

How you use your focus is the key ……..it makes any obstacle a focal point and you must ask yourself if you are helping or hindering progress by how you are thinking.

Focus is so important here because it is what is enlarging if you will something negative if you allow it to. When your focus is clear on what you want it enables solutions.....answers....changes to happen for you......unless you let go of the negative aspect of any issue you are not allowing yourself to let in the positive.

Take a moment and think about how you are using your thoughts towards something or someone you may have difficulty with and what energy are you putting towards this obstacle?

I would ask you this……. if your focus is only on what is going wrong …..what has gone wrong….what will go wrong…….how is that working for you? Is the same thing happening over and over just with different circumstances or different people? Do you find that you keep repeating the same obstacle?

The life you are living is a gift……it is about living it to the best of your ability…….you can do this when you realize that your focus must be on what is going right……what you want in your life……you must let go of any negative thought pattern that keeps bringing the same results to you.

Use your focus to find the thoughts you need to help you move forward with ease and with a sense of accomplishment because you will find this when you are feeling better and seeing a difference in what is coming and going in your life.

You know what you like and what you do not……..try not to use your focus on the do not’s……use it for the things that make you feel good…….let go of feeling any regrets or any mistakes…….they were just stepping stones on your journey.

Turn your focus on yourself and what you wish to do from here on. When you start to revert back to old patterns of thought here are some affirmations for you to use:

  • I am in control of my focus and I choose to use it for my greater good.
  • I know when I am feeling happy about myself and my life I am on the right path.
  • I choose to be the most positive I can be everyday so that my focus is only on what I want.
  • I will always turn my focus towards joy and right away I feel the difference.


Choose your thoughts wisely they really are your power. They make all the difference in how you feel and the direction your life will go……….you will feel the difference ……..let your focus change what you wish to change.
