The Freedom of Thought

It is amazing that we can think whatever we want to think and no one can stop us. We get to use one thought after the other so easily and this begs the question:

How are you using your thoughts?

  • Some people use their thoughts to live in the past.
  • Some people use their thoughts to stay angry at something or someone.
  • Some people use their thoughts to be sad and unhappy.
  • Some people use their thoughts to see a bright future ahead.
  • Some people use their thoughts to find the positive's in life.
  • Some people use their thoughts to just feel good about themselves.

There are so many different scenarios to choose from but from those you read above which ones make you feel the best?

Choose your thoughts carefully because they truly determine how you feel. Make sure that what you think helps you to feel the best you possibly can.

It is easy to slip into a negative thought pattern but we must be aware of where that takes us and change the negative to the positive.

It can be done if you make a habit of saying to yourself  "This is not what I want to think about." Then flip the switch and bring up thoughts of the things that help you to feel good.

Try to stay in a thought pattern that helps you to move forward with hope and peace. That pattern is there if you choose to use it.

Many Blessings to All

Sue
