Focusing on the lack of anything is not helping a person ever.


Whether the thought of lack is financial, having a relationship, or anything that you think you are living without  the lack part is one of the most negative thought processes you can use. By shining a spotlight on these things we make them so big and so important they can become an obsession.

When we focus on the lack of anything we give way too much energy to what we feel is missing in our lives. We then are thinking only in the negative which does not help us to see life in a positive way.

There are so many positives to life if we just move out of the "lack of" thought process and make the effort to see what we do have that is right and how far we have come in our lives. 

  • What if you made a list of everything you do have in your life to be grateful for?
  • What if you decided that starting today you would be grateful for the things that are in your life that make you happy.

We do have so much to be grateful for but when we allow the idea of what is lacking to take over we lose sight of what is right in our lives. There is so much that is good and positive and joyful.

I would challenge you today to really take a look at what you have to be grateful for and feel the difference it makes when you truly see how good things are. Make sure to find even the smallest things to add to the list because those small things add up faster than the big ones do.
